As production continues on Never Have I Ever season 2, the cast continues to grow. According to Deadline, the next to join the Netflix original series is Tyler Alvarez (American Vandal).

Alvarez is set to play Malcolm, who’s described as “a young Hollywood type.” He knows Devi and her friends from their time in elementary school, but he left to pursue a TV show with Disney Channel. Malcolm returns to attend Sherman Oaks High and will continue pursuing acting. Malcolm will add an interesting dynamic to Devi’s friend group, assuming they’ll try to rekindle their friendship. It will be interesting to see how he interacts with Eleanor specifically, as she is also interested in acting (but more specifically theatre).

Alvarez joins the previously announced Megan Suri as a newcomer for the upcoming season. They will star alongside Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Lee Rodriguez, Ramona Young, Poorna Jagannathan, Jaren Lewison, Richa Moorjani, and Darren Barnet.

Stream season 1 of Never Have I Ever now on Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available, and find more coverage here.
