Never Have I Ever primarily focuses on Devi Vishwakumar (Ramakrishnan), a first generation Indian-American teen who’s reacclimating to school after the unexpected death of her father. It follows Devi — along with her best friends Fabiola and Eleanor (Rodriguez and Young, respectively) — as she attempts to rebrand her social status while also dealing with the grief following her father’s death, her relationship with her mother Nalini (Jagannathan), and maintaining her academic prowess.
Filming for season 2 is currently underway, and there is no set release date just yet. Season 1 is available to stream now on Netflix.
