WATCH: Chris Pine Talks ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ and ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ on ‘LIVE with Kelly and Ryan’
With Wonder Woman 1984 coming out in just a few short weeks, Chris Pine sat down with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan. Not only that, Pine discussed his upcoming film that is currently in production, Don’t Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde and stars Harry Styles, Florence Pugh, Nick Kroll, KiKi Layne, and Timothy Simons, and how he has spent his time in lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ripa adds her opinion to the “Best Chris” debate by saying that Pine is her favorite Chris (and we don’t disagree with that statement whatsoever). Pine also goes on to talk about his time in lockdown being spent in London, saying that it’s a “trip” to get on an empty plane after eight months in quarantine.
Promoting his current film Wonder Woman 1984, which comes out Christmas day in theaters and on HBO Max, Pine talks about the return of Steve Trevor and Steve’s excitement for the ’80s (and the parachute pants) before going into why fanny packs are the perfect fashion accessory.
Pine also talked about what filming in Palm Springs for Don’t Worry Darling is like as well as how much he enjoys getting to film with his fellow costars, specifically Styles and Pugh, and director Wilde. Ripa then adds that it combines her two favorite things: Palm Springs and Chris Pine.
