Exclusively reported by Deadline, Aubrey Plaza, straight off of the success of Hulu’s Happiest Season, is set to join Jason Statham in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming thriller!
Written by Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, the untitled film follows Orson Fortune (Statham), an MI6 guns-and-steel agent recruited by a global intelligence alliance to track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology that is threatening to disrupt the world order. Fortune is reluctantly paired with a CIA agent who’s a technology expert, and he sets off on a mission that will force him to use his charm, ingenuity, and stealth to track down and infiltrate a billionaire arms broker.
You can see Plaza in the recently released Happiest Season on Hulu and the upcoming film Black Bear with Christopher Abbott and Sarah Gadon which releases December 4.
