The Museum of Pop Culture has released the official lineup for this year’s virtual Founders Award which will honor the Seattle legends Alice in Chains. The event will stream on December 1 at 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. ET on Twitch, Facebook, and the Amazon Music App. Although the event will stream free, attendees are encouraged to donate.
All proceeds collected will go toward providing relief to the Museum to continue serving the community and preserve pop culture for years to come. Each musician will put their individual spin on classic Alice in Chains songs.
Amongst the star-studded lineup are Metallica, Duff McKagan from Guns N’ Roses, Korn, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters, and Krist Novoselic of Nirvana and Giants in the Trees.
The event will also feature appearances by Robert Downey Jr., Eddie Vedder, Sammy Hagar, and more. Check out the full lineup below.
