Misha Collins Says Farewell to Castiel in New Video From The CW “Castiel’s Goodbye”

Supernatural‘s 18th episode, “Despair,” left an angel-sized hole in our hearts with Castiel’s heartfelt declaration of love towards Dean and subsequent death. The CW had previously released a short video, “Inside: Despair,” with a few short clips of Misha Collins talking about what was to come in the episode.

Today, the network released what seems to be an extended version of this video (Collins is wearing the same shirt) that gives fans a deeper look into what Collins was feeling in his final moments playing Heaven’s most awkward/adorable angel, especially in the wake of the Coronavirus. If you haven’t already, check out the video below.

The final season of Supernatural is winding down with the finale and one-hour tribute episode airing on November 19. Until that fateful day arrives, stay tuned for more updates concerning the show. Happy crying watching!
