God Save the Queen!

With November 15 inching ever closer, loyal fans of The Crown have been ratcheting up their excitement in anticipation of the release of season 4. Netflix has once again released a teaser trailer (with the ominous caption “Bend. Or Break.”) filled with clues on what’s to come in what is sure to be a drama-filled upcoming season. If you haven’t already, check it out below!

Unlike the last trailer, this video specifically focuses on the storylines of Margaret Thatcher, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, and of course, Camilla Shand. You can already feel the tension through the screen as Thatcher begins to make waves and Prince Charles finds himself embroiled in quite the romantic conundrum (we didn’t miss that little scene in the car with Camilla). Emma Corin and Gillian Anderson, playing Diana and Thatcher respectively,  promise a fantastic performance from these short clips alone.

Finishing out the second “era”, Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, Helena Bonham Carter, and the rest of the cast from season 3 will be reprising their roles. Roles for the upcoming seasons (5 and 6) have also been announced earlier this year with Imelda Staunton taking on the role of Queen Elizabeth, Jonathan Price as Prince Phillip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana.

We can’t wait to see what our favorite royals get into next. The Crown season 4 will debut on Netflix on November 15. As always, stay tuned for updates. What are you most looking forward to seeing in season 4? Let us know in the comments!
