Stargirl has found its newest villains in Nick Tarabay and Jonathan Cake! Deadline first reported the news. Tarabay will play series regular Eclipso, an entity who feeds on the evil side of humanity currently trapped inside the blue diamond Cindy stole in season 1. Cake will play recurring character The Shade, a Victorian-era villain whose trauma is masked by his sarcasm and 18th century mannerisms. Both characters are directly from DC Comics, and creator Geoff Johns had previously announced their inclusion in season 2. Ysa Penarejo will also join the cast in a recurring role that has not been named yet, though it is a DC Comics character.

Stargirl also features Brec Bassinger, Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Jake Austin Walker, Hunter Sansone, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson, and Christopher James Baker. Season 1 is available now on The CW app.
