Foo Fighters, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Nicks, and More to Take Part in Tom Petty’s Birthday Bash

During the annual Tom Petty Birthday Bash this year, celebrities will perform and appear to honor the late musical icon. Celebrating what would have been Petty’s 70th birthday, the bash is going virtual on Friday, October 23, with five hours chock-full of performances, testimonies, and more. Familiar faces include the Foo Fighters, Eddie Vedder, Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Nicks, Post Malone, The Flaming Lips, Adam Sandler, The Killers, Kiefer Sutherland, and many more.

This year’s bash will focus on raising awareness for Save Our Stages, a mission to preserve independent music venues all around the United States, Arts In Medicine who empower musicians and impact the lives of citizens in the Gainesville community, Digitunity — an initiative of the National Cristina Foundation, working to ensure everyone has the technology they need to thrive in our the digital society, as well as MusiCares who provide critical assistance for people in the industry in times of need. The festivities will begin on SiriusXM’s Tom Petty Radio from 4:30-7 p.m. ET before switching over to Amazon Music’s Twitch Channel for a live stream beginning at 7 p.m. ET until 9:30 p.m. ET.
