With COVID-19 safety protocols put into place, production is now underway for Steven Soderbergh’s No Sudden Move, a Warner Bros. Pictures film coming to HBO Max. That’s not all, though. According to Deadline, David Harbour (Stranger Things), Noah Jupe (Honey Boy), Kieran Culkin (Succession), and Brendan Frasier (Doom Patrol) have been added to the already star-studded lineup.
Written by Ed Solomon (Bill & Ted, Mosaic, Men in Black), the film, set in 1955 Detroit, follows a group of minor-league criminals that end up being hired to steal what they believe is a simple document, but as the plan goes awry, their search for who hired them and their ultimate purpose weaves them through all levels of the city.
No Sudden Move also stars Don Cheadle (Black Monday), Benicio Del Toro (Sicario), Amy Seimetz (The Comey Rule), Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Ray Liotta (The Many Saints of Newark), Bill Duke (Black Lightning), Frankie Shaw (SMILF), and Julia Fox (Uncut Gems).
