While the world might be displayed in a kaleidoscope of colors, Zayn Malik proves that bundles of joy are often too found in monochrome.

Coinciding on his Instagram page is two photos delving into personal and creative celebrations. One where his hand is wrapped around his and Gigi Hadid’s daughter, and the other where he appears as a transformer crashing through what was previously a brick wall.

When one clicks on the latter’s post, what can then be heard is the second verse for his single “Better.” It’s rhythmic, restrained, and brings a spotlight to his vocals as he voices the shakeable love story of something that was once solid. While he’s deeply in love with her, he’s also terrified of walking back into her life. What if he left her in a better place?
