‘The King’s Man’ Release Date Pushed to 2021

Amidst the continuing postponements of movies due to the Coronavirus, Disney and 20th Century Studios have added The King’s Man to the list of movies releasing next year. The movie was originally slated to release September 18 but will now release in theaters on February 26, 2021.

The King’s Man is a prequel movie to Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle. It’s set in the early 20th century as Kingsman is starting off. It will track the formation of the agency as its agents fight against another secret faction plotting a war that could cost millions of lives. The film stars Ralph Fiennes,  Matthew Goode, Gemma Arterton, Daniel Brühl, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Matthew Vaughn returns to direct and co-wrote the screenplay with Karl Gajdusek.
