Zac Efron is finally making his return to Disney.

Instead of putting his singing chops to use in a musical, he’s trading it in for diaper duty. Efron is set to star as the lead in Disney+’s Three Men and a Baby, a remake of the 1987 comedy that has become one of Disney’s major live-action hits. The original film, a remake of a French film, follows roommates Peter (Tom Selleck), Michael (Steve Guttenberg), and Jack (Ted Danson) who are all happily unmarried. The trio get a surprise of a lifetime when a woman abandons her child on their doorstep. The woman leaves a note that the baby, Mary, belongs to Jack. The men then have to adapt their lives to care for Mary to become the caretakers she needs them to be. While the Disney+ remake is still looking for a director, Will Reichel has penned the script, and Gordon Gray is set to produce.

Stay tuned for more information regarding the remake. You can “Bet on It” that we’re going to do “The Right Thing” and watch it as soon as it lands on Disney+.
