The Suicide Squad, a group of villains originally featured in DC Comics, has captured global interest in recent years with the release of two films based on their adventures. The first in 2016 was the self-titled Suicide Squad and the second in 2020 was Birds of Prey, a spin-off following one of the characters from the first movie, Harley Quinn.  Now, fans have another treat to look forward to: a Suicide Squad game!

The game is set to be created by Rocksteady Studios, who was also responsible for designing a related game called Batman: Arkham.  In a tweet made by Rocksteady Studios today, it was revealed that more information about the game will be announced August 22 during the DC FanDome, a free twenty-four hour virtual fan experience about all things DC Comics. A new Twitter account has also been created for the upcoming Suicide Squad game found here.  Make sure to follow to get the latest updates!
