With just over a month to go until the diabolically wild second season of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys officially drops, some incredibly exciting news has been revealed.
During The Boys Comic-Con@Home panel today, it was announced that the show has officially been renewed for a third season! The writing team is currently at work in a virtual writer’s room, and they hope to begin shooting the season in early 2021 — COVID-19 pending.

Additionally, Aisha Tyler (Archer) will be hosting a brand new after-show for the second season, entitled Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys. The cast and crew will guest star on the show, which will take a “deep dive” into the making of this epic television series.

The first three episodes of season 2 of The Boys will drop on Amazon Prime Video on September 4. The remaining five will air weekly on Fridays thereafter.
