The streaming service HBO Max has been releasing quite a bit of content for us to look forward to. Lana Condor, the actress who plays Lara Jean in the To All the Boys franchise, will be starring in the movie Moonshot.

It will be a romantic comedy sci-fi set in the future, and Condor will be playing a character named Sophie. She and another person are going to sneak aboard a space shuttle to Mars to find their significant others. Sophie’s boyfriend, Calvin, is one of the people who have terraformed and colonized the red-planet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Condor’s character will be a buttoned-up college student who always has a plan.

The movie’s screenplay will be written by Max Taxe, with Chris Winterbauer set to direct. Currently, Moonshot is in development, so there is no release date as of yet. Stay tuned for more information.
