The movie follows high school student Henry Page (Austin Abrams), a 17-year-old who considers himself a romantic even though he has never been in love. His main goal is to be the school paper’s editor in his senior year. On the first day, he meets a new student, Grace Town (Reinhart). They have both been chosen to edit the paper. With working closely together, everything is about to change for Henry as he gets drawn to the mysterious girl. As he learns the heartbreaking secret that changed Grace’s life, he finds himself falling in love with her, or the person he thinks she is. It is a realistic look at love and how sometimes it can get messy.

Chemical Hearts stars Lili Reinhart, Austin Abrams, Bruce Altman, Sarah Jones, Kara Young, Adhir Kalyan, Coral Pena, and C.J. Hoff. The screenplay was written by Richard Tanne, who is also the director and a producer with Alex Saks of Page Fifty-Four. Jamin O’Brien and Reinhart executive produce.

Keep an eye out for the Chemical Hearts trailer that will be released this month.
