Virtual conventions have steadily been on the rise this year as a result of COVID-19, and North America’s largest comic book convention is coming to a computer screen near you later this month.

Comic-Con@Home, San Diego Comic-Con’s virtual solution, will take place July 22-26, featuring over 350 separate panels of the course of the five day event. In tandem with this convention, Amazon Prime Video has announced that it is launching its first-ever Amazon Virtual-Con, which is an official sponsor of Comic-Con@Home.

Amazon Virtual-Con will be held July 23-26, curating the best content, comics, cosplay, gaming, experiences, and more from across various Amazon brands and platforms with a variety of live content, scheduled events, and evergreen experiences.

The latest addition to the weekend’s programming is a panel dedicated to Amazon Prime Video’s hit series The Boys, which follows a group of vigilantes that fight back against twisted celebrity superheroes that abuse their powers. The show is based off of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book series.

The panel, which will treat viewers to an exclusive look inside of the upcoming second season, will take place on Thursday, July 23 at 3 p.m. PST/6 p.m. EST. Showrunner Eric Kripke will be in attendance, along with the series’ epic cast: Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, and Aya Cash. Executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are scheduled to drop in as well.

Amazon has also announced panels for Upload, Truth Seekers, and Utopia. Stream these exciting events from the comfort of your home via SDCC’s official YouTube channel and/or the Amazon Virtual-Con portal beginning at 12 p.m. PST/3 p.m. EST on July 23.
