Emilia Clarke’s latest film Above Suspicion has just released a new trailer! The film is based on the true crime novel of the same name by Joe Sharkey and follows the real story of an FBI informant and her secret relationship with the agent she works with. The synopsis released by Madman Films states that:

Nothing is more dangerous than someone with nothing to lose. Based on the chilling true story of a newly married FBI poster boy (Jack Huston) assigned to an Appalachian mountain town in Kentucky. There, he is drawn into an illicit affair with an impoverished local woman (Emilia Clarke) who becomes his star informant. She sees in him her means of escape; instead, it is a ticket to disaster for both of them. This scandal shook the foundations of the nation’s top law enforcement agency, ending in the first-ever conviction of an FBI agent for murder.

The film also stars Sophie Lowe, Johnny Knoxville, and Thora Birch. Above Suspicion will be released on VOD and digital soon, with no official release date set. Check out the trailer for the thriller below!
