‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not’ Will Be Streaming Live on ‘Star Wars’ Day

As we enter May, you know we are getting that much closer to Star Wars Day. May the Fourth be with you! This year Colton and Adam, who are Ripley’s resident experts on Star Wars, will be going live on Ripley’s Believe It or Not Twitch channel at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 4.

During the day you will see amazing Star Wars exhibits like:

  • Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber from Empire Strikes Back
  • Han Solo’s Blaster from Return of the Jedi
  • Matchstick Millennium Falcon, which is made from almost one million matchsticks
  • Princess Leia Keyboard Portrait made of over 6,000 keyboard pieces and 27 hidden phrases and character names, like Lando Calrissian, May the Force be with You, and Admiral Ackbar. How many can you find?
  • A C-3PO Head that was upgraded after feedback from Anthony Daniels. It was made from plastic that shrunk when it was being shipped. The result didn’t fit his head, so it was used as a prop in the films instead.
  • There will also be Star Wars live May the Fourth trivia to see if you know more than the average Jawa
  • And so much more!

As someone fortunate enough to see Luke’s Lightsaber and Solo’s Blaster up close last year at FAN EXPO Canada, let me reassure you it is as amazing as your nerd heart is imagining. So tune in for some excellent Star Wars content on May 4, and “May the Force be with you.”
