‘Psych 2: Lassie Come Home’ Teaser Trailer Released
Psych fans get your pineapples ready and rejoice! We have a new teaser thanks to Entertainment Weekly featuring none other than dear Detective-turned-Chief Lassiter, played by Timothy Omundson.
In the new trailer, Shaun (James Roday) and Gus (Dulé Hill) reunite back in their old stomping ground in Santa Barbara, California after Lassiter is attacked. During his recovery, what should be impossible happenings cause Shaun and Gus to step in and investigate, not necessarily ghosts… but probably ghosts.
Psych-o’s will remember the first film after the dramedy series sadly could not feature Omundson as prominently in his role as Lassiter due to a stroke he suffered just before filming started. Thankfully our favorite quick-witted cop has recovered quite well and is back for the second installment.
Psych 2 was originally scheduled to air on the USA Network, where the series and first film originally aired, however NBC moved it to the streaming service, Peacock to be released shortly. All original cast members available are set to return as well including Corbin Bernsen and Maggie Lawson. Roday’s new co-star from A Million Little Things, Allison Miller, and Hill’s co-star from The West Wing, Richard Schiff are also set to appear. Look for old Psych favorite guest stars to appear as well!
