What to Expect at Wizard World Cleveland

Wizard World Cleveland is a week away, and every year the convention draws in talent and attendees from all over. Aiming to unite fans with their favorite artists, actors and actresses alike, take a look at what’s to come at this year’s Wizard World Cleveland convention that is sure to satisfy everyone’s nerdy side no matter the fandom you are apart of.

The convention will have plenty of talent lined up that will be available for photo ops, autographs, selfies and their panels. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the likes of several actors and actresses that include the cast of Outlander such as Caitriona Balfe, Duncan Lacroix, Richard Rankin and Colin McFarlane, members of The CW’s hit show Supergirl with Tyler Hoechlin, Mehcad Brooks and Jesse Rath, the cult teen drama show Teen Wolf is set to have a reunion with Ian Bohen, Dylan Sprayberry and Khylin Rambo, and Emily Swallow (Supernatural, The Mandalorian) and Chandler Riggs (The Walking Dead, A Million Little Things) will be in attendance, among many others.

Along with all of the actors and actresses also comes voice talent! This year the roster includes Phil Lamar (Futurama, Samurai Jack), Carolina Ravassa (Overwatch, Mr Robot), Anjali Bhimani (Overwatch), Chloé Hollings (Overwatch), Benz Antoine (Overwatch), Aaron Roberts (My Hero Academia) and Kyle Phillips (My Hero Academia).

Comic fans unite! This year includes Jim Steranko (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Barbara Kaalberg (Barbie, Wonder Woman), Tone Rodriguez (The Simpsons Comics), Bill Morrison (Walt Disney Pictures, The Simpsons), Kurt Lehnar (Gargoyle, Marvel Action Hour), Greg Peters (The Lion King, Animaniacs) and Jeff Pidgeon (Tiny Toon Adventures, Taz-Mania), who are among several of the guests sure to satisfy your comic needs. Other artists that will be available all weekend long in artist alley include Nystique Arts, Musetap Studios, Fangirl Frames, Little Shop of Lost Arts, Jelly Koe, Ray Wenck and The Art of Sir – Eddy Decker among others.

Panels will be taking place all weekend long, kicking it off with An Animation Celebration on Friday as well as the Agent Of Marvel with Jim Steranko. On Saturday alongside the Supergirl and Outlander panels, Whats Your Quirk? with My Hero Academia‘s Kyle Philips and Aaron Roberts will be taking place as well as D-Von Dudley’s Oh, My Brother, Testify! panel and Emily Swallow’s This Is The Way. To close out the weekend on Sunday join the cast of Teen Wolf for their panel and Chandler Riggs’ Carl…Carl…Caaaaaaaarl! to wrap up the weekend on a high note!

The annual Cosplay contest is one of the highlights of the convention every year. Categories include Best in Show, Best Hero, Best Villain, Best Group and Best Anime. The contest will be taking place on Saturday and you can sign up at the Cosplay Corner inside the exhibition floor on Saturday. Registration closes at 5 p.m. and the contest will start at 7:30 p.m in the Grand Ballroom.

There will also be workshops, artists and cosplay demos and discussions, karaoke, guest performances, and a kids cosplay contest as well as a kids zone.
