Get your wallets ready as there’s new Star Wars merchandise! The new merchandise features The Child (or as most affectionately refer to him, Baby Yoda) and other characters from Disney+ series The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

A major highlight included in the merchandise announcements is The Child Animatronic Plush by Hasbro, that’s selling at $60. The lifelike plush features numerous movements, such as burbles and coos, wiggling ears, head movements, and every so often, his arm will move to use the Force! According to the product details on the ShopDisney listing, touching The Child’s head activates over 25 sound and motion combinations inspired by Star Wars: The Mandalorian! Patting The Child’s head three times causes Force activation; the animatronic toy will raise it’s arm, close its eyes, and sigh as if using the Force. Then once you lay The Child toy down, it will close its eyes and take a “Force nap.”

Good Morning America revealed Hasbro’s The Child Animatronic Plush. You can see the little guy in action below:

This Animatronic Plush includes a removable pendant necklace and a premium soft good robe. The plush will also include the required batteries (2 AAA) according to the product specifications.

The Child Animatronic Plush is set to release December 2020 and is available now for preorder from most major retailers, including ShopDisney.com and Amazon!
