Hollywood’s most prestigious night is here. The 92nd Academy Awards are all set with a lot of familiar faces up for the most coveted gold in cinema.
Joaquin Phoenix has swept the awards board this year for Best Actor for his portrayal of Arthur Fleck in Joker, with Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood) and Renée Zellweger (Judy) also bringing home a ton of gold for their performances — all are up for Oscars tonight. 1917 shocked at the Golden Globes, but after its wide release last month it’s clear Sam Mendes’ World War I flick is a favorite amongst the contenders.
The performers for the night will be all five of the nominees for best song, Idina Menzel, Cynthia Erivo, Randy Newman, Elton John, and Chrissy Metz, along with special performances by Billie Eilish and Janelle Monáe.
