‘WandaVision’ Will Release December 2020 on Disney+

According to the Disney earnings call earlier today, WandaVision will be getting released this December!

An exact date was not revealed, but the month, along with the months for The Mandalorian season 2 (October) and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (August), were revealed. Excitement around WandaVision only grew after the short 30-second spot during Super Bowl LIV, and a confirmed release will only further fuel the fans enthusiasm to see just what Marvel is doing in this groundbreaking new series. The only information we have is that it will somehow lead into the Doctor Strange sequel Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

We broke down the first-ever WandaVision footage and you can read all about it here.

Marvel Studios revealed the synopsis for the show earlier in the week:

Marvel Studios’ ‘WandaVision’ blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) — two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives — begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this year.

WandaVision will star Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Park Randall, Kat Dennings, Kathryn Hahn, and Teyonah Parris. The 6-episode mini-series will stream exclusively on Disney+ this December.
