Adam Driver Gives Thanks for GoFundMe for ‘Arts in the Armed Forces’

Adam Driver received word of the GoFundMe which fans set up to thank Driver after his role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and have raised over $67,000 for Driver’s non-profit, Arts in the Armed Forces, at the time of publication.

The campaign has reached its initial goal and increased to $75,000, where Joonas Suotamo, who plays Chewbacca in the new Star Wars films, stated that he’d do the #BenSoloChallenge (where people reenact the lightsaber/shrug scene) if $75,000 was raised.

Arts in the Armed Forces was founded by Driver, and his non-profit brings high-quality arts programming to active duty service members, veterans, military support staff and their families around the world free of charge.

You can see Adam’s message below, and you can view the GoFundMe here.
