Disney California Adventure Park Celebrates Lunar New Year

Share

To welcome the beginning of the Year of the Mouse, Disney California Adventure Park is spending 24 days celebrating Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures. Starting January 17 through February 9, there will be lots of entertainment celebrating the Lunar New Year.

Make sure you check out ‘Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession’! Mulan will lead this parade full of dancing, drumming and martial arts to bestow New Year’s blessings on friends and families.

There will also be plenty of night-time entertainment. The ‘Hurry Home – Lunar New Year Celebration’ water show will dazzle viewers before ‘World of Color’ in Paradise Bay. It will tell the story of a little lantern’s journey to reunite with family for the celebrations.

Alongside these events there will also be various authentic Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese performers in Paradise Gardens Park, themed character meets (including Mickey and Minnie Mouse in Lunar New Year costumes) and merchandise. Delicious Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese inspired food and beverages will also be on offer.

We can’t wait to try out all these events! For more details about what’s on offer, make sure you check out Disney Parks Blog.
