In December, Hayley Williams teased on her birthday that she would be releasing new solo music in January. Overnight, Williams posted three identical black squares on Instagram that sparked theories the music would be coming sooner than expected.
Today, it seems as though we have confirmation. Earlier in the day, posters popped up stateside of Williams’s new project, Petals For Armor. Williams took to her Twitter account to post a five-second clip with the website linked to it, presumably confirming the news. In the clip, it shows an ominous light with her breathing heavily in the background before it flashes the date January 22, 2020, on the screen.
