Universal Orlando to Host the 30th ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ in 2020

Universal Orlando has spent decades building, promoting, and executing one of the most prolific Halloween theme park events in the world: Halloween Horror Nights. And as of next year, guests can help usher in a new decade of screams by joining for the 30th season beginning September 10 through November 1, 2020.

The end date of November 1 — one day beyond the default Halloween cut-off that’ll have Disney slinging cocoa and carols while Universal screams next door — is already a major hint that this anniversary is something special. Not to mention, it comes after Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights (@HorrorNightsORL) #holidayslikethis social feud against the Universal Orlando (@UniversalORL) team last November, which was essentially a Halloween versus Christmas campaign.

So far Universal Orlando hasn’t offered up many details for this anniversary season, but guests can expect:

“…stories and visions from the world’s most notorious creators of horror to Universal Studios Florida. Experience terrifying haunted houses, sinister scare zones, outrageous live entertainment and some of Universal Studios’ most exhilarating attractions.”
