The cast recording of the Off-Broadway revival Little Shop of Horrors is now available to purchase and stream. Based on the 1960 movie and 1986 movie musical of the same name, this musical revival brings both horror and comedy together with catchy tunes. It follows the events that occur after a poor flower shop assistant, Seymour, discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II. However, though the plant brings Seymour much success in business and with his crush on Audrey, things start to take a turn for the worst as Audrey II’s thirst for human blood increases.
The album, released by Ghostlight Records, was produced by Alan Menken, Will Van Dyke, Frank Wolf, and Michael Mayer. The musical revival stars Jonathan Groff as Seymour, Tammy Blanchard as Audrey, Christian Borle as Orin Scrivello, Tom Alan Robbins as Mushnik, Kingsley Leggs as the voice of the infamous plant Audrey II, Ari Groover as Ronette, Salome Smith as Crystal, Joy Woods as Chiffon, and Stephen Berger, Chris Dwan, Kris Roberts, Chelsea Turbin, Eric Wright, and Teddy Yudain as ensemble.
You can purchase the digital album from Ghostlight Records as well as stream it on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music!
