Action-Packed ‘VFW’ Premiering in February 2020

Premiering on February 14, 2020, is the action and horror movie VFWVFW, which means Veterans of Foreign Wars, is set in a world where a powerful narcotic called Hype has taken over. The effects of the drug cause users to be both euphoric, aggressive, and susceptible to suggestion. After the death of her sister at the hands of gangster Boz (Travis Hammer), Lizard (Sierra McCormick) steals his supply in revenge and seeks refuge at the VFW hall across the street where she meets a group of veterans. From there, duty, chaos, and war begin.

The official synopsis for the movie is:

“A typical night for a group of war veterans at the local VFW turns into an all-out battle for survival when a teenage girl runs into the bar with a bag of stolen drugs. Suddenly under attack from a gang of punk mutants looking to get back what’s theirs –at any cost –the vets use every weapon they can put together to protect the girl and their VFW, in the biggest fight of their lives.”

The movie’s set locations span from Dallas, Texas, the VFW Post 2494 in Irving, Texas, to the historic Forest Theater. VFW was written by Max Brallier and Matthew McArdle and directed by Joe Begos. The movie stars Stephen Lang, William Sadler, Martin Kove, David Patrick Kelly, Sierra McCormick, Tom Williamson, Travis Hammer, Dora Madison with George Wendt, and Fred Williamson.
