The comic book Star Trek: Picard – Countdown has released a peek at the upcoming series.
The story takes place several years before the upcoming streaming series timeline of Star Trek: Picard, which premieres January 23 on CBS All Access. The comic series follows Picard before he leaves Starfleet and gives more background on what prompted his retirement.
The comic series will be available for purchase on November 27.
