Anthony Michael Hall, who’s best known for his roles in Sixteen Candles, National Lampoon’s Vacation, The Breakfast Club, and the TV series The Dead Zone, is set to play Tommy Doyle in the upcoming sequel to Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills. The news was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly.

In John Carpenter’s 1978 Halloween, Tommy Doyle was one of the children babysat by Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) when Michael Myers attacked.
Confirmed in July, Halloween (2018) will get two sequels, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. David Gordon Green will direct both films, with scripts written by Green and Danny McBride.
Currently in production, Halloween Kills is set to be released for October 16, 2020. Halloween Ends is set for an October 15, 2021 release.
