Good Morning America shared a sneak peak of the new ride coming soon to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Disneyland in California. The ride will be a part of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge area of the respective parks. The new ride is designed to fully immerse the guest into the Star Wars universe. In addition to lots of Stormtroopers, guests will encounter some of their favorite Star Wars characters such as Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren and General Hux of the First Order during the ride.

When you arrive at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge you are traveling to Batuu, a remote outpost planet often referred to as a last stop before entering Wild Space. Currently you can do numerous things in Batuu such as build a droid and/or a lightsaber, have some drinks in the Cantina, try Blue or Green Milk, encounter some of the characters you know and love from Star Wars or even help Hondo Ohnaka for a mission on the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run ride. You can read our review of that ride here.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened at Walk Disney World’s Hollywood Studios on December 5, 2019 and at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, on January 17, 2020.
