Darius Marder’s sophomore film, Sound of Metal, will be part of the Toronto International Film Festival as announced on the TIFF twitter account today. Sound of Metal focuses on a heavy-metal drummer who loses his hearing and the effect it has on him. Starring Emmy Award winning actor Riz Ahmed, Marder’s directorial debut at TIFF is sure to be a strong one.
