Darius Marder’s ‘Sound of Metal’ Part of Toronto International Film Festival Lineup


Darius Marder’s sophomore film, Sound of Metal, will be part of the Toronto International Film Festival as announced on the TIFF twitter account today. Sound of Metal focuses on a heavy-metal drummer who loses his hearing and the effect it has on him. Starring Emmy Award winning actor Riz Ahmed, Marder’s directorial debut at TIFF is sure to be a strong one. Full line up for the festival will be announced on August 20 but you can find more information on their website.
