Hilarie Burton (One Tree Hill) has launched a campaign called “High School Forever” with Represent to raise funds for her Alma mater, Park View High School in Sterling, Virginia. The school announced that it would not be able to have a Patriots Varsity Football Team for the first time in the school’s history. The reason: there is a lack of funding, but not just for football, for all extracurricular activities.
The “High School Forever” campaign will benefit Project Patriot, where Burton is director, giving current students the opportunities and support that Burton had when she was a student.
Burton’s husband, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead) posted on his Twitter in support that he will match the first 200 shirts.
Alright, the lady, in her quest to help this world, is currently trying to help her old school. No funds for the arts, sports, clubs, the stuff we REMEMBER from HS. Let’s say for first 200 shirts? I’ll match ya’ll. Xojd https://t.co/kVQT5yJCTK
