Disney Announces Haunted Mansion Celebration for Walt Disney World August 6

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Disney’s version of the Haunted Mansion, Disney World has announced that park guests will be able to join in on the celebration on August 6, 2019.

For this special celebration, Disneyland has released commemorative special anniversary merchandise! They have also announced that this collection will be available at Walt Disney World where they will also be celebrating the anniversary at Magic Kingdom Park.

Your key locations for these must-haves are Memento Mori, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and Frontier Trading Post.

At Memento Mori, guests can receive a Death Certificate to become a caretaker to one of the Haunted Mansion’s 999 Restless Spirits”and discover the brand new Host-A-Ghost collection from her Séance Circle. Guests can also find commemorative items such as an ear hat, ornament, mug, magnet and even a toy replica of the doom buggy vehicle with glow and new sound features.

Make your way to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, where you can find a Haunted Mansion inspired Dooney & Bourke collection including a tote and cross body bag. And Passholders, the collection will have an exclusive satchel just for you!

Don’t forget to check out Frontier Trading Post for the commemorative “day of” pin, mystery pin collection and a glow-in-the-dark Madame Leota Funko Pop!

As part of the celebration, guests can enjoy special Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots featuring your favorite Haunted Mansion residents and enjoy the Host-A-Ghost chocolate cupcake from the Haunted Mansion ice cream cart.
