Harry Styles in Talks to Play Prince Eric in Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ Remake

One Direction fans, unite! Collider is reporting that Harry Styles is reportedly in talks to play Prince Eric in the live-action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Styles gained fame from appearing on The X-Factor where he was put together in a band by Simon Cowell. That band turned out to be One Direction, one of the biggest bands in recent years, selling millions of albums. After the band announced they were on a hiatus, Styles went on to release his own record breaking solo album.

Styles also recently appeared in his first film, Dunkirk, from Christopher Nolan and received positive responses to his performance. Halle Bailey, from the band Chloe x Halle, has already been cast as Ariel.
