Earpers Rejoice! ‘Wynonna Earp’ Season Four to Start Production
Its been a long, hard road for #Earpers, but it looks like all of their dedication paid off.
Today it has been announced that Wynonna Earp season four has gotten the green light to start production for a 2020 debut!
The show had previously been renewed by home network SyFy for a fourth and fifth season, but production was halted when IDW, which produces the show, was unable to supply funds. Cineflix, a production company based in Canada, has stepped in to help co-produce.
Emily Andras (Wynonna Earp show runner) took to twitter to celebrate the announcement with a pretty succinct message:
You fight, you win. Sometimes it's that simple. #dontfwithmyfamily pic.twitter.com/qhC5LTZgtM

The cast, crew, and fans have been fighting hard for months since the news broke in February that the show faced potential cancellation. They rallied the troops and did everything from Twitter campaigns to even taking over billboards in Time Square to prove their dedication to this unique, inclusive show.
Coupled with this announcement is the confirmation that Wynonna Earp will be hosting a panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. Nerds and Beyond will be there to give you the latest on what we can expect to see from season four!
