It might be time for #Earpers to fight for their show once again! Coming straight out of their People’s Choice Award win, Wynonna Earp (which home network SyFy had previously renewed for a 4 season) may face cancellation. Speculation started following a (now deleted) tweet from showrunner Emily Andras yesterday which asked if fans were ready to fight for the show. She continued today, asking fans to step up.

From what we have learned so far, it looks as if the issue lies not with SyFy, but financials from IDW, which licenses (and funds) the show. SyFy has released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Syfy ordered season four of Wynonna Earp from IDW and is completely committed to the series. This has not changed.”

The show, which was expected to have already started production on season 4, could use all the help we can muster! We are huge #Earpers here at Nerds, and are no strangers to rallying support for beloved shows. If you love the inclusivity, witty writing, amazing cast, and tacos, throw your support behind Wynonna Earp by tweeting #fightforwynonna!
