This October marks the 10th anniversary of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Race for the Kids in Hyde Park, London. This fun run is a 5K and the day also includes many family friendly activities, including a rock climbing wall and a bubble station.

The RBC Race for the Kids raises money for seriously ill children who are being treated at the Great Ormond Street Hospital. Children benefiting from the proceeds have even come to participate in the run, themselves, when their treatment is complete.

This year, the run hopes to raise £1 million for the children at the Great Ormond Street Hospital. Some of our favorite faces from film and television have been helping to get the word out about the RBC Race for the Kids this year, and have even participated in the run in years past.

Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) and James Purefoy (The Following) are helping to spread the word through their Twitter platforms.
