A new teaser for the upcoming live action version of The Lion King, featuring Nala telling Simba to “come home”, was posted on Beyoncé’s Facebook page yesterday. Frankly, it’s got our hair standing on end (Kind of like a lion’s mane.) The teaser is our first good look at adult Nala and also features a short glimpse of the battle between Simba and Scar on Pride Rock.

Directed by award-winning Jon Favreau, with a star-studded cast featuring Donald Glover as adult Simba and Beyoncé as adult Nala, the movie is sure to be a hit with new and old fans alike. We here at Nerds and Beyond just can’t wait to see “the king!”

The Lion King hits theaters on July 19. You can view the new teaser below and watch the full trailer here.
