‘Homecoming’ Premieres on Amazon Prime

The premiere of Homecoming, Amazon Prime’s new psychological thriller, marks the television debut for Julia Roberts. Her character Heidi Bergman, worked at Homecoming, a place that helped soldiers transition back to civilian life after leaving military service.

Good things twisted into bad, and Heidi chose to leave Homecoming.  Time passes and the circumstances behind her resignation come into question by the Department of Defense. Questions open old mysteries, and Heidi realizes that there was more to her time at Homecoming that she originally thought.

Homecoming also stars Stephen James (Shots Fired), Bobby Cannavale (Will & Grace, Ant-Man and the Wasp), Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding), and Alex Karpovsky (Girls), among others.  The first 10 episodes of season 1 began streaming November 2 on Amazon Prime, and the show has already been renewed for a second season.

Deb joined the staff of Nerds and Beyond early in 2018. She lives in Northeast Oklahoma with her husband, Kevin and works full time as a veterinary technician. She has a B.S. in Criminal Justice with an English minor from Langston University. Her hobbies include, writing fanfiction(especially Supernatural!), reading, gardening, and going to fan conventions.
Deb and her husband have begun restoring their own personal ‘Baby’ named ‘Amara D. Impala’ and hope to have her on the road soon. They recently added Castiel’s Lincoln Mark V, appropriately named ‘Feathers’, to the fleet for restoration.
