The premiere of Homecoming, Amazon Prime’s new psychological thriller, marks the television debut for Julia Roberts. Her character Heidi Bergman, worked at Homecoming, a place that helped soldiers transition back to civilian life after leaving military service.
Good things twisted into bad, and Heidi chose to leave Homecoming. Time passes and the circumstances behind her resignation come into question by the Department of Defense. Questions open old mysteries, and Heidi realizes that there was more to her time at Homecoming that she originally thought.
Homecoming also stars Stephen James (Shots Fired), Bobby Cannavale (Will & Grace, Ant-Man and the Wasp), Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding), and Alex Karpovsky (Girls), among others. The first 10 episodes of season 1 began streaming November 2 on Amazon Prime, and the show has already been renewed for a second season.
