Walt Disney World and the surrounding Disney Resort properties are about to be connected in a whole new way!  Bob Chapek, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products, announced this morning that Disney Skyliner will be opening in the Fall of 2019.  The Gondola system will connect Disney’s Hollywood Stupios and Epcot to four of the resort hotels, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Carribean Beach Resort as well as Disney’s Riviera Resort which is also slated to open Fall of 2019.

The Skyliner will bring an unprecedented view to visitors as well as convenient transportation in and out of the park.  In the Nov. 14 blog post from “Disney Parks Blog”, the experience is described for guests “arriving at the International Gateway station will travel through the trees and be welcomed into Epcot with remarkable, never before-seen views across World Showcase.”  If the concept art is any indication, it looks spectacular.
