Good news Gishers! Registration is now open! We still have roughly two long months before the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt begins on July 28, but players are already interacting on the new GISH app and building their teams.
Participants can download the GISH app or sign up online. Select your team for the upcoming game or wait to be assigned to one where you will undoubtedly form new, lasting friendships. As with previous years there are various registration tiers to choose from that include access to the game as well as cool swag and events.
Additionally we have received word that this year’s registration and Gisholarship fees will help Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, a charity “dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from kill shelters and the global meat trade” in places like South Korea, Kosovo, Thailand, Puerto Rico and more. When you sign up for GISH, registrants will get to chose whether they would like to help save a dog or a cat!
GISH has set a goal of saving 1,000 cats and dogs with an enticing visual incentive. For every 100 animals we rescue, GISH will release an animal from their Virtual Kennel and introduce them. It appears Gishers are already half way to meeting their first furry friend.
