Disney Teaming Up with Jon Favreau For ‘The Lion King’

Disney has announced that they will be teaming up with Jon Favreau for The Lion King! Favreau previously directed a live-action version of The Jungle Book for Disney, which came out earlier this year.

The film will feature songs from the animated film, with “Circle of Life”, “Hakuna Matata” and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?” some of Disney’s most recognized songs. They announced that they’re also developing a sequel to The Jungle Book, but no release date has been announced for either film.
