Earlier today, Disney announced that fans tuning in to Fear the Walking Dead would get a first look at the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
While the above trailer did not feature our beloved pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), it did serve as an introduction to the franchise’s newest antagonist – Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) – a vengeful ghost pirate and old rival of Captain Jack Sparrow whose goal is to find the Trident of Poseidon in order to kill all pirates at sea. Considering how creepy this trailer is, we are curious to see how it will all play out.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be released in theaters on May 26, 2017.
