Apple TV+ Series ‘Defending Jacob’ Starring Chris Evans Heading to DVD This Summer

Apple TV+’s hit series Defending Jacob is heading to DVD this July.

The series starred Chris Evans, Michelle Dockery, and Jaeden Martell as the Barber family of the New York Times Bestseller novel of the same name from William Landay. It also featured Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel, and J.K. Simmons.

The Barbers face an impossible situation when their son, Jacob, is arrested for the brutal murder of a classmate. Andy and Laurie try to maintain their son’s innocence and their family as they navigate the unthinkable. It navigates a world of true crime, but centers more on the fragile threads that hold families together, and what can happen if those threads begin to unravel.

It was met with rave reviews on the suspense and performances of the cast, and now even those without an Apple TV+ subscription will be able to enjoy this fantastic series.

Defending Jacob will release on July 6 and is available for pre-order across multiple vendors right now, including Amazon and Target.
