As the Hulu original series Love, Victor gears up to bring season 2 to our screens, more details about the upcoming season are starting to release. Leading the charge in confirmed news is the casting of Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad). Deadline exclusively announced that Brandt will take on a recurring role in the series. She is set to play Dawn, Felix’s mother who struggles with depression and hoarding.
Felix is Victor’s best friend in the show. In the first season, he only mentions his mother in passing, until in a later episode he brings Lake to his apartment to help her feel better about her own mother, revealing the hoarding. With the new casting, it’s possible Felix will eventually introduce Victor and Lake to Dawn. We may also get a more intimate look into Felix’s home life and his relationship with Dawn.
