The long awaited sequel to Hank Green’s bestselling debut novel, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, will be released July 7, 2020, with preorder links available now. The novel, titled A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor, picks up where the first novel left off. But this time, readers will hear from other narrators and finally get answers about the nature of Carl. Green also confirmed that this will be the last novel in the series. The news was first announced on the Twitter account @AprilMaybeNot, which is a fictional account for the protagonist of the first novel, before being confirmed on Green’s account.

An Absolutely Remarkable Thing was published in September 2018 and debuted at #1 on the New York Times Fiction Bestseller List. Hank Green is best known for being one half of the Vlogbrothers (the other half is bestselling young adult novelist John Green) and for being CEO of Complexly, an online video production company known for shows like Crash Course and Sci Show, among many others. He also won an Emmy for producing and writing The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, which was the first web series to win an Emmy Award.
